Southminster has been a notable presence in the senior living community since 1987. With the recent expansions and updates, the community was featured in the April 2022 Charlotte Magazine as a “trend-setting community”.

GMK Interiors has worked alongside Southminster since 2007, in new construction and renovations of the campus, offering full design and procurement services.​

 

Areas of ID involvement:

• Phase I –

- New apartment wing including 6 levels with
  approximately 88 units

- New Commons totaling approximately 60,000 square
  feet of new and renovated areas.

- Wellness Center

• Phase II –

- New apartment wing totaling 38 units

- Renovation of the health center totaling approximately
  40,000 square feet.

• Independent Living Salon
